Alla scoperta dell’Intelligenza Artificiale
Qualche considerazione personale
È da qualche giorno che sto curiosando e facendo qualche prova con la nota Intelligenza Artificiale. Nello specifico con i programmi Adobe Firefly e Midjourney. Come tutti credo quelli che fanno il mio lavoro.. soffriamo di una certa curiosità ma anche paura davanti a questa nuova tecnologia. Per quanto mi riguarda non credo che ne farò uso.. almeno per il momento.. ma come in tutte le cose nuove, prima di scegliere.. bisogna conoscere.
I’ve been browsing for a few days and doing some tests with the well-known Artificial Intelligence. Specifically with the Adobe Firefly and Midjourney programs. Like all those who do my job, I think we suffer from a certain curiosity but also fear about this new technology. As far as I’m concerned, I don’t think I’ll use it.. at least for the moment.. but as in all new things, before choosing, you need to know.
LO SCAMBIO
Ritengo che la ritrattistica, oltre ad essere un mondo meraviglioso come espressione fotografica, sia anche un modo per conoscere e parlare con le persone, conoscere i dettagli della loro vita, aspirazioni, sogni, paure, che sono fondamentali per realizzare un ritratto che comunica un emozione. Forse la cosa più bella, è lo scambio.. come dico sempre.. che c’è tra fotografo e modella; lo scatto si crea grazie al lavoro di entrambi.. il soggetto deve donarsi ed aprirsi.. e il risultato è così bello.. proprio perché è imprevedibile.
I believe that portraiture, in addition to being a wonderful world as a photographic expression, is also a way to get to know and talk to people, learn about the details of their lives, aspirations, dreams, fears, which are essential for creating a portrait that communicates a emotion. Perhaps the most beautiful thing is the exchange .. as I always say .. that there is between photographer and model; the shot is created thanks to the work of both .. the subject must give himself and open up .. and the result is so beautiful .. precisely because it is unpredictable.
Parlare con un computer forse non fa parte delle mie aspirazioni. Almeno per il momento. Talking to a computer is perhaps not part of my aspirations. At least for now.
